Jerry Song

Jerry is a freshman pursuing a Neuroscience and Bioethics minor. As the Director of Outreach for HMR, Jerry focuses on establishing HMR groups at other academic institutions to expand HMR’s effort to disseminate medical knowledge and widen the access to healthcare awareness. At Hopkins, Jerry spends his time researching Parkinson’s Disease and what motivates survival behavior, serves as the Director of Finance for TEDxJHU, volunteers for UMMC Shock Trauma Center, and hits birdies at Club Badminton. His interest in medicine stems from the recognition that medicine is a field that encompasses the wonder of exploring the human body, the honor of entrusted responsibility, and the magnificence of the human connection.
